she is attending the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese
Medicine (TCM) where she is studying acupuncture and Chinese
herbal medicine. She is looking forward to completing her
Masters of Science in TCM in December of 2007.
Over the past 5 years Nikki has performed hundreds of massages;
each one tailored to the individual needs of her clients.
She has successfully treated many conditions including: muscle
aches and pains, headaches, TMJ dysfunction, sciatica, overuse
injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome, as well as auto accident
injuries She uses gentle but deep sustained pressure and slow
movements to facilitate blood flow and nervous system awareness
to injured or painful areas. This is based on the belief that
once blood and energy return to the damaged area of the body
it is able to heal itself. Her overall approach is to create
balance between opposing muscles to aid in proper posture
and optimal health. Most clients find her massages to be deeply
relaxing and revitalizing.
The Q2 Water Energy Spa is a relaxing 35-minute footbath that
increases your natural energy reservoir by realigning and
balancing the bio-energetic properties of water. According
to Alternative Medicine Magazine, "patients who use the
device (Q2) have reported numerous health benefits. These
include increased vitality, detoxification and neutralization
of toxins, pain and stress relief, faster recovery time from
illness or injury, reduced inflammation, improved sleep, reduced
fluid retention, improved endocrine and metabolic function,
elimination of menstrual pain, dermal rejuvenation, and improved
kidney and liver function."
