For Karin, Yoga is more than a physical exercise;
it’s a way to strengthen and stretch the body while
nurturing mind and spirit.
Karin started her practice of Yoga by attending one class
a week. The dramatic impact on her experience of life and
physical well being motivated her to teach. She has a deep
interest in seated meditation and feels her Hatha Yoga practice
makes it possible to maintain a daily meditation practice.
Karin is a registered yoga teacher and is constantly deepening
her skills. She has a 265 hour certification and will complete
her 500 hour certification August of 2007 all in Yoga. She
actively studies with Hansa Knox at the PranaYoga and Ayurveda
Mandala in Denver, Colorado.
Karin provides ongoing personalized Hatha Yoga classes and
individualized instruction. She helps you find a way to reduce
stress, increase strength and improve flexibility of body
and mind. In her Hatha Yoga classes she creates an atmosphere
of empowerment and provides students the space to explore
attention and awareness via the body.
Each of her group classes includes a centering meditation,
breath work, postures and relaxation. Private classes are
available by appointment and tailored to the individual. Range
of possible topics includes yogic philosophy, study of cakras
or in-depth posture study.
